HEAL 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training – Winter Immersion (November–April)

A six-month hybrid yoga teacher training designed for the inward season — blending online study, live mentorship, and two restorative retreats in the mountains of Utah.

Why Trauma-Informed Teaching Matters

At HEAL, we believe yoga should never trigger the body; it should teach the body safety again. Our 200-hour training is built on the understanding that the nervous system, the body, and the breath are gateways to HEALing.

You’ll learn to:

  • Create psychologically safe spaces that honor choice, boundaries, and consent.

  • Understand the nervous system and its role in regulation, resilience, and recovery.

  • Practice inclusive, invitational language that welcomes every body and story.

  • Integrate trauma-informed sequencing and class design into every practice.

This isn’t just another teacher training — it’s a paradigm shift.
You’ll graduate with the tools to teach yoga as a pathway of wholeness, not performance.

Why choose HEAL’s Yoga Teacher Training

  • Learn to teach from safety and compassion. This training prioritizes nervous-system awareness, consent-based cueing, and embodied teaching practices born from years of teaching, HEALing, and lived understanding of chronic ilness and trauma recovery.

  • Study online at your own pace while joining live intensives and two immersive retreats — November and April — for full embodiment and connection.

  • Weekly guidance, bi-monthly mentorship calls, and a supportive community of like-minded women on the same path.

  • Rooted in classical philosophy and modern awareness, this curriculum bridges body, breath, and spirit through conscious sequencing and trauma-informed principles.

What your experience includes:

  • We understand that life moves in seasons — busy ones, tender ones, and everything in between.
The HEAL YTT was created to honor your rhythm. With a hybrid structure of online learning, live mentorship, and restorative retreats, this training meets you exactly where you are, allowing your growth to unfold with ease and grace.

  • Your journey opens and closes in sacred space — two restorative retreats designed for grounding, connection, and renewal.

In the quiet rhythm of nature, you’ll share practice, nourishing meals, laughter, and reflection with your cohort. The first retreat anchors your intention; the second celebrates your transformation as you step forward to teach from the heart.

These retreats are more than training days — they’re an opportunity to remember who you are beneath the noise, to breathe deeply, and to belong.

  • Throughout your training, you’ll receive one-on-one guidance and compassionate feedback from Bethany and the HEAL faculty.

Our mentorship approach is rooted in curiosity and care — supporting you as both a student and a human. From refining your teaching voice to navigating the emotional landscape of transformation, you’ll always have a safe place to be seen, supported, and encouraged.

  • Your manual is more than notes — it’s a companion for your journey.

Each chapter weaves together yoga philosophy, embodied anatomy, reflective journaling, and practical teaching tools. You’ll also receive access to pre-recorded anatomy modules that explore the body as a landscape of wisdom and resilience, helping you understand not just how we move, but why.

  • All live sessions and core lessons are recorded and added to your private HEAL learning library — giving you lifetime access to every teaching, practice, and reflection.

Whether you want to revisit anatomy lessons, rewatch a philosophy talk, or simply reconnect with your intention, this library grows with you — a resource you can return to again and again throughout your teaching journey.
